Shrewsbury Town FC were quick to offer the highly talented defender a 3 year deal, even though he is only half way through his scholarship at the Shropshire Club. This in itself shows how much the highly rated teenage defender means to Shrewsbury and we would like to give our best wishes for the upcoming season to Connor and family.

Teenage hotshot, Tom Bradshaw has signed a new professional contract with Shrewsbury Town FC. After breaking into the first team towards the end of the season and lighting up the stage with three fantastic goals and stunning performances, the 17 year old was attracting interest from a host of big name clubs, including West Ham, Birmingham and Fulham to name a few. However, all the level-headed youngster wanted to now concentrate on, was a new deal with his academy club and build on the strong footings he has laid for himself for the upcoming 2010/11 season.

We would personally like to congratulate Tom on his exploits last season and wish him all the best for next season. We all look forward to a truly promising future ahead.
